In Family, theatre maker Louis Janssens invites four performers from different generations to join him on stage. They share stories, ask questions, and seek support and recognition from one another. It is about what family does to us. About blood ties and chosen families. About parents, children, growing up, and the fear of being left alone. From a queer perspective, a larger, human story emerges — about the desire to belong somewhere and the reality that we all, no matter how different, have once been children.
